Business philosophy
History:
Anaphase Promotions cc has been established in 1997. We started off printing T-shirts and later moved on to provide promotional items such as pens, folders etc. to the Corporate industry in South Africa.
In 2000, we realised saturation of the market through the formation of several Promo houses and diversified into the manufacturing and production of custom made Corporate bead work and wire craft. Several jobs for SMME's were created through our efforts with the establishment of a Bead work school in Soshanguve, which reached sustainability in 2002 as one of our milestones.
During 2002, we noticed yet another shift in the industry with Promo houses realising the potential of the Corporate bead work and wire craft market. Our job creation efforts and projects (private initiative with no funding at this stage), were placed in jeopardy due to too many players in the field. It was time to re-assess and strategise again.
At this point in time, Anaphase Promotions cc decided to investigate the possibility of teaming up with a reputable production unit in order to maintain the efforts and business established to date in order to become a supplier rather than a re-seller (middleman) and maintain lowest possible pricing in order to support our local industry vs the Import market and create jobs for the unemployed in South Africa.
Project Showroom
Project Showroom has been involved in the production and customisation of corporate bead work since 1998. The company has been selected during 2002 as one of the companies to exhibit at the World Summit for Sustainable development and is a member of the Proud to be South African campaign.
In December 2002, Anaphase Promotions cc and Project Showroom partnered. Anaphase Promotions cc will focus on the marketing of products designed and produced by Project showroom. The groups (Sophie Masango and Tweefontein F and G in Mpumalanga) will be included as SMME's listed to whom we out-source the bead work increasing the total number of people for whom job opportunities are created from 500 to 550.
We will also embark on a campaign focusing on conferencing, public holidays as well as National and International "special days" such as women's day, and promote and support Campaigns such as World Aids Day, the Campaign against women and child abuse and Cancer.
Our Mission:
- We strive to create a community where people work together to understand the customer's needs and manufacture high quality products to satisfy these needs.
- We strive to establish a working environment that will create the opportunity for previously disadvantaged as well as disabled people to earn a better living.
- We aim to act as a marketing channel for Small, Medium and Micro enterprises and utilize our skills and knowledge to make a positive contribution to these businesses lacking the skills to market their own products and services.
- We understand the cultural differences that exist in our country and believe that each ethnic group should preserve their heritage and teach their children the importance of ethnic and cultural differences and values.
Vision:
We envisage that South Africa's economy will consist of businesses like ours working as teams, acting as building blocks to grow the economy in order to improve people's living conditions and lifestyles. We foresee that mutual respect for each other's cultural values and differences will provide a platform for future generations to build on what we establish today. |
